Kathie has been involved in art since she was a child. During her youth, she worked in oils and acrylics. She is currently a watercolor artist. Her favorite subjects are nautical scenes, portraits and figures. She also has a greeting card line - Dusty Doodle Designz - and accepts custom orders.

Some of Kathie's favorite art organizations are the San Diego Watercolor Society, Christos Collective, Foothills Art Association, Women in Watercolor, and the National Federation of Watercolor Societies.
